Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the market and the future commercialization of a new product in the city of Machala. As is generally known, beer is one of the most popular beverages since ancient times, which has many benefits and properties that have made it a drink for mass consumption. According to this and with the purpose of innovating in terms of snacks, we wanted to create a new product, which is beer-based biscuits. Taking into account that it is not something that has been offered before in the market, therefore, we consider that it would be an interesting proposal for the population.
As for beer, there are many brands and ways of producing it, which is why, in our product, we would like to include the healthiest one, seeking in this way to make cookies have not only the objective of satisfying a taste, but also represent a healthy food that cannot cause an unfavorable reaction in people.
For the market analysis and to check the possible approval of the product, we intervened in the community through surveys which allowed us to know their opinions and views on this new product. Regarding the results of this, we were able to verify that if the cookies were released for sale, we would have many potential customers interested in trying them while also meeting their expectations, which we were able to know according to the questions that we presented to them regarding quality, presentation, distribution and price of the product that are the most important to obtain the projected profitability that is required.
